Global Leaders Gather for the Clinton Global Initiative (CGI) 2025 Annual MeetingWinny Power,President of Times Square Global Live, Receives Official Media Accreditation New York, September 2025 — The Clinton Global Initiative (CGI), one of the world’s most influential platforms for cross-sector collaboration, will convene its 2025 Annual Meeting on September 24–25 in New York. Marking its 20th anniversary, this year’s gathering will take place under the theme “What’s Next?”, bringing together leaders from business, government, philanthropy, and civil society to explore and advance solutions in key areas including climate, health, inclusive economic growth, humanitarian response, democracy and human rights, information integrity, education, and innovative finance.
In his letter to the CGI community, President Clinton emphasized: “Given the scope of challenges we face, this year’s CGI is going to look a little different—and it needs to. We must rethink how we engage, how we collaborate, and how we sustain the values that unite us.”
Featured speakers and participants include:
Noubar Afeyan, Founder & CEO of Flagship Pioneering, Co-Founder & Chairman of Moderna
Matt Damon, Co-Founder of Water.org and WaterEquity
Anthony Capuano, President & CEO of Marriott International
Cindy McCain, Executive Director of the World Food Programme
Hamdi Ulukaya, Founder & CEO of Chobani
Abigail Disney, Filmmaker, Author, and Philanthropist
Ryan Gellert, CEO of Patagonia
Audrey Tang, Digital Minister of Taiwan
Alongside numerous leaders from international organizations, philanthropic foundations, and government.
As part of its 20th anniversary, CGI is introducing a new working group model, designed to foster action-oriented collaboration across industries and sectors.
Notably, Ms. Lin Yongli, President of Times Square Global Broadcasting Studio in New York, has been officially accredited as a member of the press for this year’s meeting. This recognition highlights her longstanding commitment to advancing international dialogue and cross-cultural communication, as well as the growing influence of the Chinese community in global public affairs.
To commemorate its two decades of impact, CGI has also partnered with Social Goods to release a special edition of branded merchandise, with proceeds supporting initiatives in economic opportunity, climate action, public health, and gender equality.
Since its founding in 2005, CGI has driven more than 4,000 Commitments to Action, benefiting over 500 million people in 180 countries. The 2025 Annual Meeting will once again serve as a global platform for cooperation and collective action.
