At the core of the package is legislation establishing an Office of Algorithmic Accountability, tasked with analyzing algorithmic tools used by city agencies, incorporating public input, and taking corrective action related to the City’s use of such tools.
According to the Council, city agencies are already using AI and ADS in a variety of ways, but without a consistent and enforceable code of conduct. The newly approved framework aims to set clearer “guardrails” for how agencies develop, procure, deploy, and use public-impacting AI systems.
Additional measures in the package require public reporting, including publishing a list of AI systems that have undergone pre-deployment assessment, and establishing basic compliance standards that are reviewed regularly.

【纽约讯】纽约市议会于11月25日表决通过一揽子AI监管相关法案，旨在为纽约市政府使用人工智能（AI）与自动化决策系统（ADS）建立更系统的市级监管框架，提升监督、问责与透明度。
该立法组合的核心内容之一，是设立**“算法问责办公室”（Office of Algorithmic Accountability）**。根据市议会说明，该办公室将负责分析市政府各部门使用的算法工具，建立公众意见反馈机制，并对发现的问题推动纠正措施，以推动政府技术使用更透明、更可追责。
