summit and exhibition will be held in China in 2019.
The
Sino-US Food Entrepreneurs High-End Summit and Sino-US Joint Food Exhibition
will be held in rotation and will be held in the United States in 2020. This is
a large-scale comprehensive summit and exhibition for food industry jointly sponsored
for the first time by think tank institutions, chambers of commerce and media
organizations of China and the United States. Through the deep dialogue and
communication between food entrepreneurs, to get the goal of mutual
understanding, respect, benefit and win-win. According to the plan,
representatives of nearly 1,000 foreign and commercial and industrial organizations
such as the Sino-US diplomatic institutions, food science and research
institutions, food processing and production companies, food distribution
companies, food machinery manufacturers, and agricultural enterprises will
participate in the exhibition.
The
Sino-US Food Entrepreneurs High-End Summit and Sino-US Joint Food Exhibition
Organizing Committee were established at the same time. Baoyin Cao (Executive
Director of the China Food Brand Research Institute) served as Director of the
Organizing Committee. Jason Quin (Executive Chairman of the American Chamber of

served as Vice Presidents and Zhixiang Luo (Deputy Director of China Food Brand
Research Institute) served as Secretary General.
According
to the introduction from Baoyin Cao (director of the organizing committee), on
May 19, 2018 (US local time), China and the United States issued a joint
statement on bilateral economic and trade consultations in Washington, and both
sides took effective measures to substantially reduce the trade deficit between
the United States and China. A consensus was reached and the round of
"constructive consultations" was put to a close. In the future, China
and the United States will strengthen trade cooperation in the fields such as
energy, agricultural products, medical care, high-tech products, and finance.
At this point, China and the United States have avoided the worst-case
scenario, and deep-level bilateral economic and trade cooperation has
officially kicked off. In this context, US food entrepreneurs, agricultural
entrepreneurs and their products have entered China also as the same of China,
and this has become an imperative business opportunity with huge potential.
