周五晚,以“蛇舞寰宇,瑞启新篇”为主题的春节联欢晚会在纽约联合国总部隆重举行。来自世界各地的五百余位嘉宾齐聚一堂,共庆新春佳节。
本次春节联欢晚会由联合国中国书会主办。中国常驻联合国代表傅聪大使、联合国经济与社会事务副秘书长李军华、主管全球传播事务副秘书长梅丽莎·弗莱明、开发计划署副署长徐浩良副秘书长,以及主管大会和会议管理事务的助理秘书长谢里斯·诺曼·沙莱等多位联合国高级官员到场祝贺。
致辞共话团结与多样性
傅聪大使在致辞中表示,春节不仅承载着和平、和睦、和谐的中华文化理念,其成功申遗更为世界文化遗产增添了一颗璀璨明珠,也为不同文明之间的交流与互鉴搭建了新的桥梁。
联合国经济与社会事务副秘书长李军华强调,在联合国成立八十周年这一历史性时刻,全体会员国应当团结一心,正如联合国秘书长古特雷斯在新年贺词中所说的那样:“让2025成为一个新的开端:不是作为一个分裂的世界,而是作为联合起来的国家。”
主管全球传播事务的副秘书长梅丽莎·弗莱明向联合国中国籍员工表达了诚挚的感谢,高度评价他们在维护联合国多语言原则和传播中文信息方面所做的卓越贡献。她特别提到,中国籍同事以母语将联合国的重要信息传递给全球观众,为促进多样性和互相理解作出了重要努力。
主管大会和会议管理事务的助理秘书长谢里斯·诺曼·沙莱表示,文化多样性是联合国的核心价值之一。中国籍员工将丰富的文化遗产、语言和传统带入联合国,拉近了不同国家人民之间的距离,深化了彼此的理解和联系。

精彩纷呈的文化盛宴
今年的联合国春晚内容丰富、形式创新,给现场观众带来了一场别开生面的文化体验。活动设置了“福字迎春”“新年相框打卡”“拓印红包”等互动环节,既传递了浓厚的传统年味,也展现了富有创意的节庆氛围。
晚会节目异彩纷呈:殷人凯以中、英、西三语深情演绎的《我的中国心》,唤起了全球华人华侨的共同情感;杭州余杭文旅集团选送的新国风舞台表演《径山茶礼 天下茶宴》,将源自唐宋的“径山禅茶文化”与现代戏剧舞蹈巧妙融合,向世界传递了中国“以茶敬客”的传统礼仪;少年京剧节目《梨园春和》与古筝合奏《盛世国乐》则充分展现了年轻一代对中华文化的热爱与传承。
此外,中国籍联合国员工还带来了舞蹈表演《骁》和《情深谊长》,为晚会增添了活力与温情。晚会特别设置的联合国知识有奖问答环节,不仅让观众享受精彩表演,还增进了他们对联合国八十年发展历程的了解。
美食与文化共享
活动现场精心准备了30余道中华传统美食,涵盖粤菜、川菜和云贵菜等多种菜系。中外嘉宾在品味佳肴的同时,也进一步感受到了中国文化的独特魅力。
New York, 17 January 2025 – A festive Spring Festival Gala themed “Dancing Dragon Around the World, Ushering in a New Chapter” was held at United Nations Headquarters in New York, bringing together more than 500 guests from around the world to celebrate the Lunar New Year.
The gala was organized by the UN Chinese Book Club and attended by senior United Nations officials, including Ambassador Fu Cong, Permanent Representative of China to the UN; Liu Zhenmin, Under-Secretary-General for Economic and Social Affairs; Melissa Fleming, Under-Secretary-General for Global Communications; Xu Haoliang, UNDP Associate Administrator; and Movses Abelian, Assistant Secretary-General for General Assembly and Conference Management.
In his remarks, Ambassador Fu highlighted the universal values of peace, harmony, and goodwill embodied by the Spring Festival, noting that its recent inclusion on the UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage list builds new bridges for intercultural dialogue. Senior UN officials also emphasized the importance of unity, cultural diversity, and multilingualism in advancing the UN’s mission.
The gala featured traditional and contemporary performances, including multilingual songs, classical opera, tea culture presentations, and instrumental ensembles. Chinese UN staff members contributed with original dance performances, underscoring the strong cultural ties within the international community. Guests also participated in interactive activities and enjoyed a selection of traditional Chinese cuisine.
Organizers described the event as a celebration of cultural diversity and international friendship, reinforcing the values of unity and mutual understanding that lie at the heart of the United Nations.

Spring Festival Gala Brings Lunar New Year to the Heart of the United Nations
On Friday evening, the United Nations Headquarters in New York transformed into a hub of festivity and culture as more than 500 guests from across the globe gathered to ring in the Lunar New Year. Themed “Dancing Dragon Around the World, Ushering in a New Chapter,” the Spring Festival Gala offered a vibrant celebration of unity, cultural diversity, and international friendship.

The evening opened with messages of peace and solidarity. Ambassador Fu praised the Spring Festival as a cultural treasure symbolizing harmony and goodwill. UN leaders echoed this spirit, emphasizing unity at a time when the organization marks its 80th anniversary. Fleming expressed particular gratitude to Chinese UN staff for promoting multilingualism and bridging cultural understanding worldwide.
The cultural program dazzled the audience with its blend of tradition and innovation. Singer Yin Renkai’s trilingual performance of “My Chinese Heart” stirred emotions among global Chinese communities. The Hangzhou Yuhang Cultural Tourism Group’s “Jingshan Tea Ceremony, World Tea Banquet” merged ancient Zen tea traditions with modern stagecraft. Young artists showcased Beijing opera and guzheng music, while UN staff members brought warmth to the evening with original dance performances.
Adding to the festive atmosphere were interactive activities such as calligraphy, photo corners, and red envelope printing, which allowed guests to immerse themselves in Chinese New Year traditions. A UN-themed quiz blended fun with education, highlighting the organization’s eight decades of history.
No Spring Festival would be complete without food: more than 30 dishes from Cantonese, Sichuan, and Yunnan cuisines delighted the international audience, turning the evening into both a cultural and culinary feast.
As the night concluded, guests departed with a renewed sense of friendship and cultural appreciation. For many, the gala was more than just a celebration of the Lunar New Year — it was a living reminder of the United Nations’ core values: unity in diversity, mutual respect, and shared hope for a brighter future.
