New York — The Clinton Foundation has confirmed that the Clinton Global Initiative (CGI) 2025 Annual Meeting will take place in New York City on September 24–25. The summit will be chaired by Chelsea Clinton, with former President Bill Clinton and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton joining global leaders from across sectors.
In a recent letter to the CGI community, Bill Clinton underscored that in an era marked by war, climate disasters, and inequality, “we must redefine how we engage, how we work, and how we uphold our shared humanity.” This year’s meeting will focus on building cross-sector collaboration to deliver tangible impact.
The event will bring together leaders from government, business, philanthropy, and academia to address pressing global issues including climate change, public health, economic recovery, and social equity.
Held annually alongside the United Nations General Assembly, CGI has become a premier platform for convening decision-makers and philanthropists. The 2025 meeting emphasizes “collaboration across boundaries” with the aim of generating sustainable, actionable solutions at the nexus of today’s global challenges.
